Water Worx Services, Inc. is a Utility Service Contractor located in Clayton, NC that services central and eastern North Carolina. Our company provides services for commercial and residential customers.

Water Worx Services was founded in the mid 2000’s by Mathew Stefanski. Mathew used his mechanical skills and desire for service acquired in the Marine Corps to start a small plumbing service company. During the early years, Matt worked as a full time fireman and on his days off would do residential and commercial projects which enabled him to begin to sharpen his business skills. As the company grew, he hired employees and began building the mission and vision statements using core words such as integrity, passion, and accountability. In 2015, the company transitioned from a plumbing contractor to a utility contractor. Water Worx Services became incorporated in June of 2016 and carries a water/sewer license, a commercial plumbing license and employs backflow certified associates.

We provide commercial backflow and utility services in Clayton, Raleigh, Durham, Greensboro, Wake Forest and the surrounding areas.

Backflow Preventer System Relocation and Certification: A client required the relocation of their backflow preventer system. I oversaw the relocation process, ensuring the system was properly reinstalled and connected. Afterward, I tested the system for functionality and issued a certification to confirm its compliance with local safety and operational standards.

Sewer Backflow Preventer System Relocation: A client needed to relocate their existing sewer backflow preventer system. I carefully assessed the new location, excavated the area, and moved the system to ensure it continued to function effectively. After relocation, I performed thorough testing to verify its performance and compliance with local regulations.

Perform same-day emergency repair for backflow at nursing home in Smithfield. Backflow preventer was run over by a car earlier in the day, putting the residence at risk for water to flow in the wrong direction and cause contamination. Carry out necessary repairs quickly and safely and tested the device to ensure proper function.

Commercial replacement of off-site sewer line for industrial facility. Ensure customer was informed of process throughout and installed new lines safely and effectively. Performed inspection and testing to ensure new system was working as it should.

Perform repair on malfunctioning fire hydrant. Inspected the system and found that the upper barrel needed to be replaced. Got the part replaced and tested to ensure all was working properly and according to code.

Commercial car dealership customer scheduling installation for a new oil and water separator. Performed the installation as well as laying 500 linear feet of sewer pipe. Minimally invasive and restored the area once work was complete.

Customer is preparing for sewer service in the future. Today we performed asphalt milling to prep the space and will return to perform sewer service.
